Kodiaks women’s volleyball to host play-in game
The Kodiaks will take on the Rattlers on Friday night.
Feb. 14, 2023 – It’s win and you’re in for the Lethbridge College Kodiaks women’s volleyball team, as they will host an Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) play-in game against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers on Friday night.
The Kodiaks finished the regular season with a 10-9 record, placing them third in the ACAC south division. They’ll take on the sixth place Rattlers, who compiled a 5-14 regular season record.
The Kodiaks recently swept the Rattlers in a home-and-home series, winning 3-0 at home on Feb. 3 before narrowly slipping past MHC 3-2 in a dramatic five-set match in Medicine Hat on Feb. 4.
First serve is set for 6 p.m. at the Val Matteotti Gymnasium, located on the campus of Lethbridge College. The match will also be broadcast live on ACACTV.ca and Telus Optic Channel 1998.
The winner of Friday’s showdown will advance to the 2023 ACAC women’s volleyball championships, to be hosted by Red Deer Polytechnic from Feb. 23 to 25.
