Serfas and Nashim Canadian Brewhouse Kodiaks student-athletes of the week

Canadian Brewhouse is proud to sponsor the Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Week. Congrats to Kourtney and Ethan on their selections! 

Kourtney Serfas (second year, Bachelor of Nursing, Turin, Alta.) delivered a standout performance against the Lakeland College Rustlers, who are currently the top-ranked team in the country and back-to-back national champions. Although her team faced a tough loss, Serfas was named Player of the Game for her exceptional play, recording 11 kills and one ace. Her ability to perform at a high level against such formidable competition highlighted her resilience and skill, making her one of the top contributors for her team.

Ethan Nashim (fifth year, Open Studies, Lac La Biche, Alta.) knows how to step up in big moments. The Kodiaks had two high quality match ups where he was named player of the game against the Keyano College Huskies. Nashim had a standout weekend, recording a total of 33 kills, four aces, and four blocks. His dominant play over the two games has propelled him to the No. 5 spot for overall kills in the conference, solidifying his reputation as a impactful presence on the court.
