Morrison and Marshall named Canadian Brewhouse Kodiaks student-athletes of the week

Megan Morrison (fourth year, Bachelor of Nursing, Medicine Hat) of the women’s soccer team had an outstanding weekend against the Ambrose University Lions. She was unstoppable for the Kodiaks, scoring four goals in the match and earning ACAC Player of the Match for her exceptional performance. With this victory, the women’s team is now on a three-game win streak. Morrison now leads the Kodiaks with 20 points, including nine goals and two assists this season.

Jake Marshall (second year, General Arts and Science, Nelson, B.C.) of the Kodiaks men’s soccer team made a huge impact in their match against Ambrose this past weekend. He scored the first goal just under two minutes into the game, giving the Kodiaks an early lead. Marshall followed up with another goal in the second half, regaining the lead for his team. He played the full 90 minutes and assisted on the final goal, securing a 5-1 victory for the Kodiaks. His performance earned him the ACAC Player of the Match.
