Gage and Degner Canadian Brewhouse Kodiaks student-athletes of the week

Canadian Brewhouse is proud to sponsor the Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Week. Congrats to Reanna and Ryan on their selections! 

Reanna Gage (second year, Exercise Science, Hamiota, Man.) had an outstanding performance for the Kodiaks women’s volleyball team during their road trip this past weekend. As a key defensive player, Gage led the charge with 14 digs and four assists, showcasing her ability to read the game and keep her team in strong defensive form. Her leadership extended beyond her stats, as she provided a steady presence on the court, uplifting her teammates and boosting their confidence throughout the matches. Gage’s effort was recognized when she was named Player of the Game against the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder. 

Ryan Degner (fourth year, Open Studies, Lethbridge) delivered a standout performance for the Kodiaks men’s basketball team this past weekend. In a crucial game against Concordia, Degner played 31 minutes and showcased his scoring ability, shooting 8-of-14 from the field. He also made his presence felt on the boards, grabbing seven rebounds, while contributing one assist and one steal. Known for his no-nonsense leadership and work ethic, Degner's performance helped lead the Kodiaks to a strong showing, further cementing his role as a key player on the team.
