Block and Grasmeyer named Canadian Brewhouse Kodiaks student-athletes of the week

Kate Block (second year, Business Administration, Waldheim, Sask.) of the Kodiaks women’s cross-country team had a standout performance in the recent cross-country race, contributing significantly to her team’s overall success. The women’s team secured second place with 69 points, finishing just behind RDP (32 points) and ahead of MHC (73 points). Block crossed the finish line second for the Kodiaks, securing 13th place overall with a time of 27:26. She has been a consistent and valuable member of the team, helping drive their continued improvement.

Ethan Grasmeyer (second year, Natural Resource Compliance, Smithers, B.C.) of the Kodiaks men’s cross-country team had another strong performance in the recent cross-country race, helping the men’s team secure second place with 39 points, finishing just behind SAIT (36 points) and ahead of NAIT (54 points). Grasmeyer was the second Kodiaks to complete the 8km race in an impressive time of 28:52 coming in fifth place. He has consistently demonstrated his skill and determination as a key member of the team.
