Jankowiak and Grasmeyer named Moxies Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Month for September!

Moxies is proud to sponsor the Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Month. Congrats to Kiara and Ethan on their September achievements!

Kiara Jankowiak (third year, General Arts and Science, Lethbridge) had a strong start to the 2025 women’s soccer season. She is currently sitting fourth overall in the conference for save percentage with .868. Throughout this month, she earned Lethbridge’s ACAC Player of the Match twice and Kodiaks Student-Athlete of the Week once. Her consistent performance in goal has been key to the Kodiaks staying competitive in every match. Jankowiak and her team will begin the second half of their season this weekend, as they face each team one final time before championships, giving them a chance at redemption against a few key opponents.

Ethan Grasmeyer (third year, Conservation Enforcement – Bachelor of Applied Science, Smithers, B.C.) got off to a strong start this September and has consistently been the top performer for the men’s cross-country team this season. He opened with an 8k time of 29:43 to earn a second-place finish, followed by a 30:47 that placed him fourth. Grasmeyer has helped lead his team to two second-place overall finishes. Over the past month, he has been named Kodiaks Student-Athlete of the Week twice. Grasmeyer and his teammates will race in their final regular season meet this weekend, aiming to build momentum heading into the ACAC Championships.
