Weekend Preview: Kodiaks soccer looks to keep their winning streaks alive
Kodiaks soccer is back again this weekend.
Sept. 21, 2023 – Kodiaks soccer is back again this weekend. With both the men's and women's teams on a roll, this weekend's matches promise to be nothing short of exhilarating.
Saturday, the women will take to the pitch as they will be going up against the University of Alberta – Augustana Vikings. The men have the day off.
On Sunday, both Kodiaks soccer teams travel to Medicine Hat for the highway #3 rivalry to play against the Rattlers.

· Sunday, Sept. 24 | 1 p.m. at Medicine Hat College
Kodiaks women’s soccer has continued to power through the season and are still undefeated in ACAC south division play. The team also moved up one spot in Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association women’s soccer rankings and now hold the number seven slot.
Raeleen Vanden Dungen (fifth year, Early Childhood Education, Vauxhall) has stepped up to be an offensive leader for this team. In just three games played this season she has three goals and three assists.
Men’s soccer

· Sunday, Sept. 24 | 3 p.m. at Medicine Hat College
The men’s soccer team is looking to extend their three-game winning streak against the Rattlers this weekend.
First year, Nikola Baljak (first year, Engineering Design Technology, Calgary) has been a dominating force in the midfield for the Kodiaks, winning many tackles and starting the offensive attack on numerous occasions. He earned Player of the Game honors in their last match.
