March 8 WFUT | Quarterfinal | Kodiaks 1 vs Medicine Hat College Rattlers 2
The Kodiaks took on the Medicine Hat College Rattlers in the quarterfinals. The teams traded wins throughout the season so both sides knew they were in for a tight battle. The Rattlers were first to score after capitalizing from a penalty kick. The Kodiaks couldn’t find the back of the net before time ran out in the first half. With a quick turnaround after the break, the Kodiaks tied the game when Valgardson scored off an assist from Khloe Jankowiak. With a late go-ahead goal from the Rattlers and not enough time for the Kodiaks to respond, Medicine Hat took the game 2-1 and eliminated the Kodiaks from the championship.
