The Kodiaks women’s soccer team is looking to carry over their momentum from their huge win against SAIT Trojans last weekend. The team is making the mid-season turn in the number one spot in the ACAC south division and are now focused on securing a playoff spot.
Kenley Matishak (second year, Academic Upgrading, Calgary) made a significant impact against SAIT scoring the only two goals of the match. She was named the ACAC Player of the Game and Kodiaks student-athlete of the week. Raeleen Vanden Dungen (fifth year, Early Childhood Education, Vauxhall) also has heads turning as she is on the ACAC’s leader board for number of goals, assists, and overall points.

Ben Knight (fifth year, General Studies, Manchester, England) will undeniably serve as a beacon of guidance for his teammates. His previous experience in a similar situation during the 2019-2020 season speaks volumes, as he not only earned the prestigious title of men's soccer ACAC Player of the Year but also led the Kodiaks men's soccer team to their historic first-ever gold medal victory.
