The Kodiaks women’s volleyball team has a competitive weekend ahead, with both of their opponents ranked nationally by the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). To succeed, the Kodiaks will need to play with impeccable defence to continue in long rallies with these tough teams. Opposite hitter Aideena Wickstrom (fifth year, Exercise Science, Coaldale) is ranked fifth in the league for total kills, leading her team with 58 on the season. She will be a key player in the upcoming matches, as her versatility in shot selection will be crucial for the Kodiaks' success.

The Kodiaks men’s volleyball team has two huge matchups ahead as they take on the top-ranked teams in the north. With these games, the Kodiaks are hoping to secure two wins that will push them up in the CCAA rankings — from 13th place, past Lakeland (ranked 10th) and Keyano (ranked 5th). To keep their unbeaten streak alive, the team will need high intensity from everyone, but especially from their pin hitters, Nolan Moes (fifth year, Natural Resource Compliance, Barrhead, Alta.) and Ethan Nashim (fifth year, Open Studies, Lac La Biche, Alta.).
