Austin and Degner named Moxie’s Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Month for November!

Robyn Austin (first year, Business Administration – Accounting, Lethbridge) of the women’s volleyball team has been named Kodiaks Student-Athlete of the Month for her outstanding performances in November and finishing off the first half of the season. Robyn has been a key offensive contributor, ranking second on the team in overall kills and posting an impressive hitting percentage of .270. Her strong all-around play earned her ACAC Player of the Game honors twice this month—against North Western Polytechnic and the NAIT Ooks—where she showcased her leadership and skill on the court. Robyn’s consistent efforts and commitment to both individual and team success have been instrumental in the Kodiaks' season.

Ryan Degner (fourth year, Open Studies, Lethbridge) of the men’s basketball team has been named Kodiaks Student-Athlete of the Month for his outstanding performances and leadership on the court. Ryan earned Player of the Game honors twice this month—against the Keyano Huskies and the University of Alberta – Augustana—showcasing his ability to excel in high-pressure situations. A well-rounded player, Ryan ranks among the top three in nearly all statistical categories for the team, contributing significantly to both offense and defense. His leadership has been crucial for this young group of student-athletes, and his all-around play continues to drive the team’s success this season.
