Quinn and Price Named Athletes of the Week

Mar. 15, 2022 - These two futsal players got it done on the defensive end last weekend! Congratulations to Jordan Quinn (WFUT) and Austin Price (MFUT) for being named Athletes of the Week, sponsored by Mucho Burrito Lethbridge!

Jordan Quinn (WFUT)

Jordan (first year, Nursing, Picture Butte AB) was locked in last weekend at the Kodiaks futsal tournament. In goal, Quinn only allowed 3 goals in over 2 games, which is an incredibly challenging task in the game of futsal. Jordan was an integral piece to the Kodiaks picking up two wins, helping them secure their spot at the ACAC Futsal Championships in two weeks.

Austin Price (MFUT)

Austin (fourth year, Child and Youth Care, Terrace BC) had two solid performances last Saturday. After starting their first match trailing Ambrose 3-1, Austin was a defensive force while also creating scoring opportunities for his teammates. Price’s performance helped lead the Kodiaks to a 4-3 comeback win, which secured the Kodiaks spot at the ACAC Futsal Championships. 

The ACAC Futsal Championships will take place March 26-27 at The Kings University in Edmonton.
