Lake and Stewart Canadian Brewhouse Kodiaks student-athletes of the week

Canadian Brewhouse is proud to sponsor the Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Week. Congrats to Cole and Owen on their selections!  

Cole Lake (second year, Business Administration, Eagle, Idaho) had a strong showing for the Kodiaks at the ACAC men’s basketball championships. He earned a spot on the ACAC South All-Conference second team. Over two tough matchups against Keyano College and Lakeland College, Lake showcased his scoring ability and playmaking skills, averaging 19.5 points per game while shooting efficiently from beyond the arc and contributed 13 assists across both games. His leadership and all-around performance were crucial in keeping his team competitive throughout the weekend.

Owen Stewart (third year, Business Administration – Accounting, Lethbridge) delivered an outstanding performance at the ACAC/Running Room Grand Prix #3, the final event before ACAC championships being held in Edmonton, March 15-16. Competing in both the 1500m and 600m events, Stewart dominated the competition, securing first place in both races. His impressive speed, endurance and race strategy were on full display as he set the pace and finished 1st in each event. With this momentum, Stewart has positioned himself as a top contender heading into the championship meet, proving his dedication and competitive edge in the season’s final stretch.
