Pilling and Stewart named Canadian Brewhouse Kodiaks student-athletes of the week

Canadian Brewhouse is proud to sponsor the Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Week. Congrats to Hannah and Owen on their selections!

Hannah Pilling (first year, Academic Upgrading, Cardston) delivered a remarkable performance at the 2024 ACAC Cross-Country Championships, as the first female Kodiak to cross the finish line and securing an impressive second overall. Her finish contributed valuable points, helping her team achieve a second-place standing and qualify for the CCAA nationals in two weeks, hosted by St. Clair College in Windsor, ON. Following the race, she was honoured as the ACAC 2024 Cross-Country Rookie of the Year and earned spots on the All-Conference team as well as a top 10 Grand Prix runner.

Owen Stewart (third year, Business Administration – Accounting, Lethbridge) also excelled at the 2024 ACAC Cross-Country Championships, leading the Kodiaks in competition. He finished eighth overall, the top finisher for the Kodiaks men’s team. His performance played a crucial role in securing the team's second-place finish and qualification for the CCAA nationals in two weeks at St. Clair College in Windsor, ON. At the championship banquet, Stewart was recognized as one of the top 10 Grand Prix runners for his consistent results throughout the season.
