Kodiaks winter sports open-tryouts

With the athletics season right around the corner the Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks have announced open tryout dates for their fall sports.

Volleyball

Men’s volleyball will have two tryouts taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Thursday, Sept. 5 at the Polytechnic in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium. You must be a full-time student enrolled at Lethbridge Polytechnic to tryout. 

Men's Volleyball Open Tryouts

Wednesday, Sept. 4: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 5: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Women’s volleyball will have two tryouts taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 4 and Thursday, Sept. 5 at the Polytechnic in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium. You must be a full-time student enrolled at Lethbridge Polytechnic to tryout. 

Women's Volleyball Open Tryouts

Wednesday, Sept. 4: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 5: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

The volleyball season begins on Oct. 25 with a home-and-home series against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers. The season runs through both the fall and winter semesters, consisting of 19 games: nine at home, eight away, and one at a neutral location. The season concludes at the end of February.

Basketball

Men’s basketball tryouts will take place Wednesday, Sept. 4 at the Polytechnic in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium. You must be a full-time student enrolled at Lethbridge Polytechnic to tryout.

Women’s basketball will have two tryouts taking place on Monday, Sept. 9 and Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Polytechnic in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium. You must be a full-time student enrolled at Lethbridge Polytechnic to tryout.

Monday, Sept. 9: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 10: 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

The basketball season begins on Oct. 25 with a home-and-home series against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers. The season runs through both the fall and winter semesters, consisting of 21 games: 11 at home and ten on the road. The season wraps up at the end of February.
