The Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks women’s soccer team signed Hannah Bradford to the roster for the 2024 season earlier this month.
Bradford grew up in in Abbotsford, B.C., where she played competitive soccer for both the Langley United Soccer Association and Fraser Valley Metro.
She attended the University of Lethbridge and trained with the team before she enrolled in the General Arts and Science program at the polytechnic, and is now suiting up for the Kodiaks.
“I was influenced to choose Lethbridge Polytechnic and the Kodiaks because I heard a lot of great things about the coaching staff and team culture,” says Bradford.
She has embraced that team culture with the Kodiaks and brings her best to the field at every opportunity. Bradford approaches the game with a positive attitude and strong work ethic and takes pride in being a loyal teammate.
“When she gets the ball, when she plays with an edge, she's going to be an impact player,” says head coach Sean Carey of the Kodiaks midfielder.
The Kodiaks have reached the midway point of their regular season and have games scheduled for this weekend. They’re on the road to take on the University of Alberta – Augustana Vikings tomorrow, September 28, and on Sunday they’ll return home to host the Medicine Hat College Rattlers at noon.
