Run For The Pumpkin is back with a new course
The Kodiaks cross-country team will hold its annual Run For The Pumpkin event on Sept. 21.
The Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks cross-country team will hold its annual Run For The Pumpkin event on Sept. 21.
This year, there’s a new course that will start and end south of Nicholas Sheran School. There will be two races: a two-kilometre race starts at 10 a.m.; four km starts at 11 a.m. Both races will be entirely on grass. Competition will be held in age categories from under six to over 35.
A High School Cross-country Team 4K Invitational will be part of the event. High school cross-country teams must have at least four runners in the male category or four runners in the female category to compete. The challenge is based on the best aggregate times of the four fastest runners of each team for the male and female categories.
