Moxie’s is proud to sponsor the Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Month. Congrats to Hannah and Wilson on their September achievements!
Hannah Pilling (first year, Academic Upgrading, Cardston) of the Kodiaks women’s cross-country team has had an outbreak start to the season. As a first year she’s got her footing under her quickly finishing top four in all the races and improving times and placements along the way. This last competition was on the course that will be used at this year’s ACAC championships, and she finished first overall. She is the first female Kodiak to finish first in a ACAC cross-country competition since 2019. Her placement helped the women’s team overall score and finished first overall as a team.
Wilson Ntignee (fifth year, Business Administration, Bori, Nigeria) of the Kodiaks men’s soccer team has taken a leadership role on this team early. He is leading his team with nine points, four goals and one assist. The team is made up of a young group this year and Ntignee has guided the team to stay calm under pressure situations. This has allowed the team to pull of two comebacks guided by Ntignee. He scored the game winning goal against olds in the 87th minute followed the next day scoring the tying goal in the 90th minute.
