Walburger and Helton named Moxies Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Month for January!

Feb. 15, 2024 – Moxies is proud to sponsor the Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Month. Congrats to Dray and Hannah on their January achievements!

Dray Walburger (first year, Business Administration Management, Magrath) joined the squad at the kickoff of the winter semester, and he's been a game-changer ever since. Right now, he's the top scorer for the Kodiaks, scoring in an impressive 21.6 points per game. In a showdown against the #2 nationally ranked team in Canada, RDP Kings, he went all out, dropping 25 points and securing an upset victory for the team.

Hannah Helton (fifth year, Exercise Science, Okotoks) is turning heads in the second half of the season. Once she's on the court, her influence is undeniable. She's the go-to player, sitting at the third spot in the conference for points per game, clocking in at a solid 18.3. She earned the player of the game honours in back-to-back matchups where her team split games against the #3 ranked team in Canada, RDP Queens.
